SHORT BIO
Sarah Hamilton is a social impact consultant, educator, and 2x Emmy winning producer. For nearly two decades, she has led changemakers to strategize, strengthen, and scale their social impact. Sarah has advised on multiple Nobel Peace Laureate-led Initiatives and served on Nobel Laureate Desmond Tutu's nonprofit advisory board. Sarah is a former Delegate for United Nation's Commission on the Status of Women (CWS65), and was appointed to U.S. Department of State's Fulbright Specialist Roster.
Her social impact films have won two Emmy Awards, four Telly Awards, Davey and Anthem Awards and numerous film festival accolades including Best Social Justice Film. Sarah is an instructor at Duke University where she teaches Nobel Peace Laureate Social Impact Film Studies, and a former producer for TEDx. She authored two 'Official Film Guides for Study & Discussion' for Nobel Legacy Films award-winning documentaries 'Dalai Lama: Scientist' and 'Shirin Ebadi: Until We Are Free'. Both films premiered at the Venice Film Festival, and over two million copies of the film guides have been distributed worldwide.
Sarah is the recipient of the United States "Presidential Call to Service Award" for her volunteer philanthropic initiatives. She has been recognized by Forbes as a "Social Impact Expert", named a "Social Impact Hero" by Authority Magazine, and featured as industry expert in the media on NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, KTLA, Parents, Best Life, Washington Informer, Thrive Global and Forbes.
